We are seeking skilled Truck & Trailer Mechanics, PM Technicians, and Shop/Road Service Technicians to join our growing fleet maintenance team. This role is ideal for mid‑level or senior techs looking for stable hours, strong benefits, and a professional work environment.
You will perform preventive maintenance, repairs, diagnostics, and DOT‑related work on trailers, trucks, and fleet equipment both in‑shop and on mobile service calls.
Experience:
- 2–5 years of hands‑on mechanic/fleet technician experience
- OR 5+ years for Senior/Lead role
Certifications:
- ASE certifications (preferred)
- CDL (preferred, not required)
- DOT Inspection Certification (preferred)
Tools:
- Must have own basic tools
- The company provides major shop equipment + specialty tools
Responsibilities:
- Perform Preventive Maintenance (PM) services on trailers and tractors
- Complete brake jobs, wheel seals, hubs, suspension, airbags, and lighting repairs
- Conduct diagnostics using electrical testing tools and equipment
- Handle electrical troubleshooting for lights, wiring issues, ABS, and sensors
- Perform DOT inspections (if certified; otherwise, training provided)
- Document repairs accurately using work orders
- Respond to road service calls when required
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
Schedule:
- Weekend shift available
- Flexible/rotating schedule
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of trailer systems, air brakes, and electrical systems
- Ability to diagnose issues without supervision (especially for senior tech roles)
- Experience in mobile road service (preferred but not mandatory)
- Welding experience (bonus)
- Must be able to work weekends!!!!
